Ok heres your answer, jiraiya explains it, it is a five element seal on top of a four element seal which makes the chakra mix inconsistantly making his chakra control unstable.

sorry to post in a dead thread, but we sure have some real jerks in this forum.
Anyway, I didn't think Oro's intention was to make channeling chakra difficult. I think he just saw Naruto as an annoyance and did his seal to get the brat out of his hair. It just happened to be an even/odd mix and affect Naruto later on.
Although, it's been a while, so I'm not sure. It doesn't really matter anyway.
For real you guys. just chill and help him. no need to be jerks. thats not cool. well yea, some of the replies above me will solve your question.
