Its some reality show about some duck hunting hillbillies that got a controversial spotlight when the leader bashed gays on tv, turns out he was a fake person and all the characters are pretty much made up.
A new season of "Beauty and the geek " just started playing here, so we get the same argument locally.
every week there's a new "discovery", like a picture from one of the geeks facebook album at a bar (!!) or finding that one of the 'beauties' actually is finishing her B.A...
it's a combination of manipulative editing, the participants playing up their act for the show, and a bit of plain TV bullshit.
