I don't think there's any difference.

It's like me saying "don't call me a red apple!" and the other person saying "then I'll call you a green apple!"

Naruto just wanted to address Jiraiya in a way that showed what he felt Jiraiya really was - a pervert. Jiraiya didn't want to be called "ero-sennin", so Naruto, still wanting to label him a pervert, retorts back and calls him another word with the same meaning.
