    Well i don't read Tenjou Tenge and i am not a fan of bad jokes thrown in my face all the time. I don't mind the jokes here and there, i for example enjoy the fat guy skating on his head and Akito being gay and so on but when they throw in 3 Ringo sexjokes in 3 chapters in a row in the middle of a fight i get a bit pissed.

    A good manga needs both char development, story, action and some comedy. It feels like Airgear skips most of all those things and throw in a bunch of crappy sexjokes in some chapters and i am not a fan of that kind of shitty immature humor. "oh my god lol look at her ass, she dressed up in a swimsuit HAHA" yea that's funny eh? Well i don't think so.

    So I found out after idling in the chat three hours (like they wanted) while the bt ran.

    So that makes me twice the dumbass.

    A few important things revealed about the chararcters, none of which was actually all that unexpected.

    Rika is so hot, and she loves Ikki so much, this new guy on the wheelchair wonder what awesome shit he can do, or what he was like before.
    Ikki will continue with A.T. that can't stop for certain reasons of being the main character in a story about A.T's, heh.

    Wow this manga just gets worse and worse, how old is the mangaka? 13? "Oh look at this so cool with chick in underwear wahahaha!!!" I really wanted to see some development for the main characters instead of bringing in new chars constantly, on top of that half of them are "extremly hot" girls.

    Again he does a really bad job of mixing jokes with seriousness, he should read Ippo and Jojo's Bizarre Adventures and try to learn as much as possible.

    I know he isn't very serious and i don't like that he doesn't get serious. Why don't he do something along the lines of Love Hina if he likes to draw girls in underwear all the time?

    Mainly because people like to read this kind of crap sometimes.

    When I want to read something with a well written plot where I have no idea what's going to happen next, I read Death Note. When I want some soap opera like series filled with overly complex relationships, I'll grab another chapter of NANA. Lots of gore? Gantz or Berserk.

    And sometimes I want a shallowly written series filled with moronic perverted characters and fanservice in nearly every panel. Like Air Gear. It's not that well written, except for the perverted jokes shoved into every random crevise in the plot, but sometimes I'm just in the mood to read it.

    It's great that you hate this series, we all know the former editor for Sc-scans did. I'm just not sure why you're so hostile about it. It's just another series in a long line of shallow ecchi mangas where the plot's main purpose is often just to allow for as many panty shots as possible.

    I don't see why it needs to get serious. There's lots of serious mangas out there, sometimes you just need to balance it out with something stupid and perverted.

    They treated Ten Ten rather well. I think AG will gett he same treatment. Should be good. But know we get to look forward to the manga being picked up by DC and being butchered to death.

    Also I really want to see the next chapter bad. This is getting good.
