Just imagine how much streangt it took to seal a monster with impossible amount of chakra and who is as big as a house. I would say the fourth beat him the only way he can be beaten. Also Itachi and Kisama was talking about the sannin Jiraya not Naruto who kisama took care of a sec when he tried to use kyubi chakra. Naruto would be a match for Kisama now but not then when he coulndt even do a rasengan move. Why would they fear him when they knew he coulndt tap in much of kyubi.
