I love the look of the double-pigtail girl.
But I had severe trouble to follow who was fighting whom in the first third of this chapter.
I stand by my opinion that this manga rather sucks, BUT I´d love to watch it as an anime. Hope they´ll change their minds sometime in the future and animate the rest of the manga.
I wouldn't say that it's a bad manga, but it's deeply flawed.
mostly by the slow release rate, the fact that everyone looks the same and most of the pages are just figures jumping or sword wielding with no text (so you switch through the page quickly and don't notice much what's going on).
Given the right studio and budget, it could be an awesome action movie.
'bout the chapter... I have no opinion. no idea what's going on around here.
How many times have i read "baki"...

What's so hard to follow?
The three came and just butchered everyone up before we even really got to see them in person, and then it was:
Mira vs Hysteria
Cassandra vs 3 chicks
Make-up vs Twins
I would call it "not much happens" as opposed to "hard to follow".
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
I'm with the 'wtf is going on' camp. I like the character designs in general but the only defining characteristic of most of the chars is their hair style and it gets hard to follow who is who, especially when new characters are showing up every few chapters. After a second or third pass I can usually puzzle everything out but it can get annoying reading through a fight chapter and not having a clue who's doing what unless someone scar-faced like Miria of Galatea is involved. Also he just doesn't seem to want to move the story forward as it keeps going from fight to fight to fight without revealing particularly strong details about the greater world.
Interesting, I guess. But if it's a pendulum, then she'll have to sway back and forth, so you only really need to put your sword right in the middle of the motion to cut her up nicely.
If it's supposed to look like an illusion of her lying on the ground, then it'll have to be at a speed comparable to Mira's phantom flash - only that the movement is even more predictable since it has clear start and end points.
I suppose it's a technique that relies on surprise though. Once you think it through, it's not so hard to get its weakness. Roxanne, on the other hand.. Damn she's evil.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
I wouldn't bet on the swing being her only weapon.
the way she cleans her face (p.30) reminds me of that early one piece villian (Kuro something?) with his razor hands.
sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.
You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.

Those loli claymores are pretty cute
I don't know why everyone keeps dissing on Cassandra, who the fuck ever said a Claymore's technique was supposed to be elegant and beautiful? They're monsters fighting monsters, they regenerate and stretch theirs limbs and gut their enemies in whatever horrible way is first presented to them... and now suddenly they're worried they don't look pretty while doing it?
Well the only one who dissed her is the mole-chick. No one else even knows about it, supposedly. And she dissed it because it's the ugliest technique she had accumulated so far (if she even bothered to learn it after seeing it), when she has all the other ones that can do the job and also not look ugly.
In the end, the reason comes down to thinking it doesn't look very "warrior-like". Even Cassandra thinks so.
I remember who Ophelia was, but I don't remember who Hilda was.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Yeah, that part doesn't make much sense.
Peace.
They`re just jealous.

Hilda was a friend of Miria who Awakened. Miria and Ophelia were in the team who had to take her down. Afterwards Miria found out that it was her friend and almost Awakened herself but stopped because of Ophelia's provocations.
If my memory serves me correct that is.
Every single time some dude tried to rape them they were like "Yeah ok i don't care", i don't think they even remember they're women anymore
From what I understand, their genitals/pubian region have been seriously altered in the process of implanting youki flesh, making the view horrible enough for mercenaries to lose their will to rape.
They have been enrolled as young pre-teen girls, so the modifications clearly altered the development of what should have been their natural woman body.
Then, their training and upbringing probably doesn't let much room for proper woman feelings/mindset/emotion set.
Both in their body and development from preteen, to teen, to young adults, there's no room for womanhood.
So I agree in thinking it's hard to rely too much on their gender to make asumptions.
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
I'm pretty sure it's because of some nasty/hideous scar they have on their body where the Youki flesh is. Not because of the genitals themselves. Theressa ripped off the cloth from her chest ( I thought it was the chest anyway) and that disgusted the gang who surrounded her at that time. Also the only way they can rebel against guys is running away or knocking them out or something because they can't kill em.
