That's just the composer, and he has worked on many other games... that list is strange. For instace, Motoi Sakurai, whose work on Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos is awesome, is listed as "Golden Sun and Mario Golf."
Those are good games, but when it comes to music, who cares about Mario Golf? How can them ignore Baten Kaitos' magnificient orchestrated soundtrack, and Xenosaga's, too?
(if you haven't heard BK's OST... eh.... I'll upload a song for you later).
And actually, Power suit Samus has been confirmed - in the old site (before relaunching) in her character page, it said something like "Don't worry, you'll still be able to fight with Power suit Samus, but in some events Samus will strip her suit"
Perhaps it'll be a character like Princess Zelda in the old SSB:M, where she could transform into Sheik and back to Zelda. It'd be pretty cool, since I love double-characters.
I'm all for the Gotwoot Brawl. I'll get my ass kicked, 'cause I suck, but it'll be pretty great at any rate!

That seems like it'd work out pretty well. It could possibly also have something to do with items or powerups?? Bring on the GotWoot Brawl!! And with that list of composers, I'd have to agree with you there Xan. Oh, and it looks like they'll be updating the site with 2 new characters each day. Mario and Link are up there right now.
/me prays for Sonic. He's going to be in the Olympic Games with Mario, so why not place him with the rest of the Smash roster?

They've added the item "Gooey Bomb", which seems to act like the Plasma Grenade in Halo, only you can get it off you and put it on someone else once you've been stuck.

Only Pit today. Not exactly dissapointe, but I was hoping for two characters, as the first update.
Pit looks like the kind of character I'll end up using - nimble and not-so-strong but able to connect lots of hits and run the hell away before being hit back.
'Sides, the idea of a bow that transforms into two knives is just too pretty.
But then again, after seeing Link's special attack (back in the trailer), the Triforce Cut might just be too much for my fangirl brain to resist....
im just hoping for mewto to be back, yes i was teh shits with mewto.
