Looks like Deidara is going to self-destruct afterall. What interests me the most is how Sasuke is going to escape. I'm thinking Sasuke won't be able to escape. He uses the rest of his chakra to do a Chidori shield or some defensive move to block the impact as much as he can. He barely survives and then Naruto and the gang find him. Sakura heals him.

Or Kishi can just give Sasuke instant transmission.

As for Tobi, he'll probably get hit, but he won't die since he's like immortal.

Interesting take. But I think it's a clone of him. Either that or he'll be the most injured in the series he's ever been, but I think it's a clone working for him.

Interesting, but it felt stretched.like, pages 7-10 could have been fewer pages and conveyed the same information. Sasuke's method of surviving this is sure to cause plenty of angst. But I think the Tobi saving him theory would be the most interesting, since it would create a new thread to follow once this arc is over.

There absolutely no way Tobi is going to get hit or even injured. I'd think this will the time we find out Tobi is not exactly who he appears to be (not necessarily Obito but that's still a possibility). Tobi is going to save Sasuke and Sasuke is going to be like "who ARE you?!?". Either that or Sasuke finds himself alone wondering how he somehow managed to escape the blast. It will be inferred that Tobi saved him even if Tobi is either nowhere to be found or appears for a few panels, says some hinting words to Sasuke, and mysteriously takes his leave.
