If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
is it just me, or did the acting suck in this episode? all the fighting scenes seemed so awkward, like it was a very amateur play involving retard actors with no passion.
I don't know what actors you see, but yes the animation was a bit awkward. Probably a lower budget episode.
I didn't notice any problems with the animation. As for the storyline, it's good to see that everything's finally coming together. Despite how great an effort she's putting to hide her real self, I don't see Henaro as a cold enough character to carry out whatever she's supposed to - protecting Gilgamesh's shadow I think it was.

The whole structure of the episode went by pretty fast, but it was good enough to keep me entertained. I must say though that the fight sequence was a bit ackward and Neeba's little backstory was weak. I'm just having a hard time understanding Jil, though. Doesn't he have any resolve? He always seem to carry the funk of a strong person on the outside, but just unstably weak on the inside. Just makes me wonder how he would be able to pull through this tragic event.

What tragic event?
Peace.
Hmm, I am probably referring to the one where Kaaya just left him, along with Neeba, so the end of the first series. It was tragic enough for them to wonder about it for seven months.
