Are you suggesting that any of the pirates capable of gaining enough notoriety to strike fear in any other pirate or marine crew alike might have done so against their will?

If someone with a backstory like Coby became a shichibukai, I'd seriously lol.

That's what the amazon pirates do. They pillage from whoever they run across, whether it be pirates, marines, merchants, w/e.
