I'm more surprised that she can actually heal participants without taking part in the duel which should mean that Haruyuki could have attacked Noumi at any time while he was watching the match instead of waiting until he officially joined the duel.

A little late to the party on this one, but damn I hate Chiyu so much. Not quite Suzaku level hate, but it's been a long time since I've hated any character this much... I want her to die a more horrible and painful death than Noumi. The way she leads Taku along while also showing obvious signs of love for Haru... the way she belittles their hard work in the Accel World but saying they're "taking it too seriously... it's just a game".... and now this random act of "Oh, I'm going to get Haru's wings back myself... nevermind the fact that they just defeated him and were about to retrieve them... it wasn't MY way, so we're going back to square one", or something like that. I mean, why else would she heal the guy?
I have to admit though, I was quite proud of Haru's development. At least he's finally showing confidence.
It's dangerous to go alone. Take Nep.
It depends on the method that is actually required to obtain the wings back. For example, maybe Chiyu needs to heal Haru's "curse" in battle for it to work.. I don't know, but I hope it's something like that so Chiyu isn't doing something completely pointless.Originally Posted by Alhuin

If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
But there's problems with that as well, if anyone can jump into a Battle Royal that means someone could jump in right at the end when everyones almost dead and wipe them all. The other reason being that the participants should get some form of message when someone joins the fray.
The biggest reason that doesn't hold for me is that neither her name or lifebar showed up anywhere in this Battle Royal. When Haru joined you could see all three lifebars yet she interfered without being displayed.

Actually, they weren't about to retrieve jack shit. Beating him in battle doesn't get Haru his wings back, otherwise Cyan Spike would have went for the kill from the get go instead of trying to negotiate terms.
This is however irrelevant because i already hated the bitch and didn't need much of an excuse to hate her some more.
To me, it looked like he was going to cut the wings off Noumi. In which case, like Bill said, if he stole Taku's cannon, and Taku got it back when Haru destroyed it, then it would make sense to do the same with the wings.
But maybe I'm just thinking too much into it.
I'm with you though... I already hated Chiyu. I was just giving yet another reason why I do.

...wat? He never stole Taku's cannon, that was very obviously a whole other weapon.
Ripping off the wings though... it's doubtful that would achieve anything. It takes special abilities to cause permanent damage and i doubt it would be as simple as slicing them off and them superglue them back to crow.
I meant his pike. I typed that before work.

He never stole his pike either. Nothing was stolen during that battle.
something was done with it though, I thought he removed it from the game or destroyed it
Episode 18:
Lolis, lolis everywhere. They need to end this plot line asap though, that cliffhanger was painful.

I guess the real question is whether or not Megumi already was a Burst Linker. From her dialogue in the room, I'm guessing this is the case, and the reason she wanted to apologize was because she didn't approach Kuroyuki on their first day just to be her friend, but for something else. However, if that's the case, Kuroyuki isn't nearly as good as she thinks she is about hiding her Brain Burst identity, so I might be wrong.
Bad cliffhanger it may be, but I honestly appreciate this break from the other terrible storyline. This feels more like the earlier parts and the reason I liked this series.
Spoken as if it was a bad thing.Originally Posted by Ark

Well, this is better than the stupid Noumi arc but I don't like that they cut away from one arc in the middle and then had a cliffhanger in the cutaway. This show seems determined to be as annoying as possible despite an interesting premise.
For all the nothing it's worth I'm also in the do not want camp for this show with respect to lolis but I recognize that they're a box on the checklist that has to be checked so I don't see much value in angsting over it, if you want to be a popular show you have to have some sort of nod to at least moe if not loli-moe these days.

UTW - Episode 19
--------------------
Ah.. nostalgic. It's been ages since I've last seen a Gattai! super robot show, so you could have put me into the cheering squad there with the two little ones.
Kuroyuki wasn't as overpowering as I thought she would be, so Legendary beings must be something crazy.
(From the sounds on the bus, I'm guessing Kuroyuki countered Megumi with Death By Groping.

But Kuroyuki now knows of "the organization" that Noumi is a part of, and has confirmed them as cheaters and hackers. They're not some special privileged "successors" like Noumi portrayed himself as earlier. They're using proxy linkers to keep them from showing up on challenge lists, power-leveling in remote areas where their hacks, exploits, and cheats won't get noticed by the community and subsequently punished by the Kings, and likely using some outright cheats.
That doesn't mean that Noumi is using any hacks other than the challenger list blocking, because his special ability does seem to cover the rest.
She can probably get Scarlet Rain to believe her, but the other kings probably have some trust issues when it comes to her.
I like how they were going for a very specific type of voice for Crimson Kingbolt so it would fit the avatar perfectly...but then his real life body doesn't fit the voice at all!
That was cooooool~~ Especially the megazord.
Seeing what's her face bitch whore in the preview ruined it for me though, her face alone draws out unspeakable anger.
