I think it's more likely than not that Avdol will resurrect from this. There was a strange "evaporation" going on when he was held by Kakyoin. His stand is also a fire bird, so it's entirely possible. It already had an impact on me this episode, so I'll forgive them since I've already adjusted to the mildness of this current arc.

Seems like The Hanged Man can only attack you when your reflection is visible in something. Interesting that it's invisibility seems to extend to the user as well.

That was an interesting scene. When it was raining you could see Centrefold, but when the rain stopped you couldn't. I suppose that means that Centrefold can make himself invisible (but I'm sure that he himself remains visible in the reflection), but that screws up when it rains.

Hah, go Joseph! Good to know he still has it in him. It wasn't quite a magic trick, but that's still sleight of stand and the quick thinking we liked about him. Add in the "You're going to say" antic and it almost feels like the good old times.

sucked that his ripple failed. That would have been super nice, defeating an enemy with the "old" abilities. But Joseph was still cool.

Nonetheless, this second seasons sucks compared to the first Jojo-season. It´s just too goofy, too carefree, too ... funny. Each enemy is a one-episode one-shot. And never do I get the feelng of real danger from what happens.

Well, the entire arc only lasted 9 episodes, and half of the arc took place before they even introduced vampires into the series, so you'd have a hard time finding time to give ANYONE multiple episodes.

I assume you're talking about Tarkus and Blueford, who were in a couple episodes, but there's also two of them, so that's pretty much the same as being a being a one-episode wonder. If it's not, then your statement is still wrong, because the Centerfold and Hol Horse fight spanned multiple episodes, and Hol Horse still isn't even dead yet.

I got a feeling of danger this time, since they could kill off Joseph for being an "old timer" so to speak. You obviously can't kill Jotaro since he hasn't knocked anyone up yet.

The problem with this season isn't one shotting. It's the monster of the week format. It's like watching a friend play a video game. "Oh, we're in Singapore-land now. And there's the boss"

At least the danger has gone up some, recently, with Avdol dying, and Joseph getting really hurt.

I kind of feel like playing super mario 3 now, though.

Literally EVERYTHING they've encountered so far has ended up being a Stand. Why they're still so skeptical after all this time is astounding.

And they are seriously Scooby Doo with their levels of constantly splitting up.

And also claiming to be best buds with this guy who just died when you weren't. I'd be suspicious as fuck and never claim I was really good buds with someone. Sure, you could inherit $100000 dollars or something.. or perhaps in debt.
