Found it hilarious how everyone was standing super close to each other, friends or enemy, just because everybody knew that Dan mustn´t be attacked.
I didn´t understand why they left the old lady to die, though. Just push her into the sunlight and Dio´s cells would have died off?

So, couldn't they have just cut of Dan's hand, and all that would do is break Joseph's mechanical hand?
Then you just threaten to let Dan bleed to death if he doesn't remove his stand.
Also, Dan should be completely fucking useless against more than one enemy at a time.

"Okay, so in 9:30 seconds, when I'm sure it's too late to save my friend, I'm going to kill you. Sure, that'll kill my friend too, but he was going to die anyway, and at least you won't be able to get any more of us after that."
Killing one isn't being useless, but yes, this power is retarded. It is a suicide move, but the dude acts as if he is in control.

Also, can't Joseph just use the Ripple to destroy the bud? It's his own body, he should totally be able to channel Sunlight Overdrive through it. Sure, it won't effect the Stand inside him, but that apparently doesn't do anything on it's own.
Because he didn't major in ripple neurosurgery?
I mean, lets be honest, the writer obviously decided to just make Stands immune to the Ripple to keep the guy who defeated Pillar Men from completely steamrolling all the enemies in this arc. Even if he is an old man.
So i've spent the last couple weeks watching all of this show. The first two arcs might possibly be the single greatest and manliest thing to ever grace television. This third arc seems to be leaning more toward the side of silly, and i dunno everything seems much less dire and over the top.
But yeah i'm with Darth, as soon as Dan said he planted a bud in Joseph my first thought was "well that's dumb, dudes just gonna ripple it to death." It's more than a little disappointing that he hasn't thought of it at this point. It also makes me sad that he's gone from the super confident hero with a plan for everything, to an old man version of Kevin McCallister who just throws his hands up to his face and yells "Oh my God!" every time anything happens. I mean i know Jotaro is the main hero here, but did Joseph really need to be demoted to the comic relief roll?
Well, he was always silly, even when he was the hero.
Problem is he used to be a badass. Used to beat up physical gods with a bola. Now he's the weakest guy on the team.
I mean, okay, Ripple doesn't work on Stands. But it should still work on the users right? Most of these fights should be ending with Joseph punching a Ripple into a guys face.
Yeah, this is definitely a problem I'm having with this entire arc. The characters are SUPER stupid and gullible. Jotaro seems to be the only clever one in the bunch, and even he tends to let the badguys do what they want for WAY to long before finally taking action.
If this is the most popular arc of this series, the final battle must be amazing or something.
Yeah, but somehow it felt different in his arc. Can't quite put my finger on why i guess, but when he was the hero those moments of sillyness were often funny and just made him more awesome. Now they just seem aimed at making him look foolish.
I sure hope so, this arc is in much need of some first arc Dio awesomeness. His lack of presence thus far is unfortunate, but i guess since he's stuck in Egypt for whatever reason he can't just pop out to taunt the group.
He was silly, but he was smart. His silliness was used to his advantage because it often meant his opponents underestimated him.
Remember how the vampire removed his coat or something and ripped off 7 grenade pins attached to him? (and then you'll say... !!!!)
Jotaro has the same aptitude minus that very entertainment factor that made Joseph so awesome.
Current Joseph is also rather serious and not very uplifting. It was so nostalgic when he made fun of Polnareff for shits and giggles.

i think i hate this season now, like, officially. The first half was super stupid, sillly jokes everywhere. When The Sun entered the stage and everybody started dying, it actually felt like the Jojo that I was used to when watching season 1. It felt threatening, dangerous, existential. Simply awesome.
And then the enemy is ko-ed with a stone throw. WAT.
Even worse, everybody started laughing like mad... and it was NOT because of a sun/heat stroke. This made no sense, since Jotaro had never been portrayed as somebody who´d laugh as outgoingly as he did.
Sigh.

Yeah this whole episode was just boring, bad, and pointless. So little of this arc has had any real impact on story/character development, i don't even know why it exists. Nothing interesting has happened since Avdol died, and the tone of the arc in general makes me wonder if anyone remembers Jotaro's mom is dying. I know i sure as hell forgot until the thought "why are they after Dio this time anyway?" popped into my head. Such a great show has fallen so far in a single arc, i'm sad. Also Stands are BOOOOOORRRRIIIIINNNGGG!

Yeah, his dreams are actually pretty scary. Kakyoin carving the message onto his hand was exactly what I would have done, good on him! Sucks that he's mentally shitty right now and can't interpret it properly. That's alright though, we can always count on Jotaro to rescue them :S.
Hermit Purple flying a plane came out of nowhere. It'd have made more sense for it to forcefully steer the plane than to invade its electronics.
