So Jiren has a sob story and desires power. It makes no sense that someone so fixated with power doesn't want the role as God of Destruction. I'm assuming this given his "true power" doesn't involve destruction abilities.
In the end. Goku will just UI his ass.

I kinda wish they hadn't given him a family though. I think this arc would have been better if 17 was just some kind of weird loner, and then over the course if this arc, he learned the value of life and sacrificing for others and whatnot.
The fact that he already had a wife and kids implies he probably already knew that, so there's no character arc there for him.
Also, the fact that they didn't show his wife makes me wonder if we're not going to get some kind of jokey reveal at some point. Like his wife is Launch or something
I kinda wish Vegeta had spent this entire episode laying down.
The fact that he activated Blue2 like, 3 more times this episode after using his "sacrifice myself, TOTALLY out of energy" attack last episode really feels like crap writing.
He should have just spent this entire episode recharging, then been ready to fight again after 17's sacrifice.
Same goes for Kaio Ken in Blue mode. That wrecked his shit last time and now he keeps on using it?
I guess they'll just chalk it off as not being able to use it fully because they are tired. But whatever. I don't see this having a good ending the way it's going now.
Either in a draw or one of the victors wishing the rest back.
I'm really hoping that Super is just going on hiatus after this arc and isn't ending for good, because I'm going to be very disappointed if Super doesn't get bookended by ending with a rematch between Goku and Beerus.
Unless the upcoming movie does that for us instead.
I don't have a problem with that though because that was the first time he used it, and that was, like, 3 arcs ago.
It makes sense that, after more training with it, he could get used to it and negate that drawback.
In this, they specifically said he was out of energy, and then had him keep coming back after taking no time to rest. I wouldn't have a problem if they'd have spent at least this episode recovering.
Likewise, they keep having Freiza jump in and not doing anything, when I'd have been perfectly fine if he'd just spent several episodes unconscious.
I don't consider an ending in which 70+ of the 80+ characters in this arc are just killed off forever to be a good ending. I like a lot of them, and I'd like to see them again.
Perhaps they will wish for the erased Universes to be brought back but as one singular Universe? That way everyone comes back and there are less Universes out there.

So it's still 2v1 given Freiza's still hanging around somewhere. All Goku has to do is draw this out for the next 2-3 minutes and Universe 7 has won.

Yeah, he still feels like he's just dicking around. Like if he wanted to knock the last two people out, he could do it in 10 seconds if he actually tried.

Next transformation: Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Ultra Instinct Master Kaioken x 20 Goku or SSGSSUIMKX20 goku for short.
It's a God form not a Saiyan one though. So it's just UI Goku. Or Ultra Instinct Mastered Goku.
Or after a while they'll just call it White.
I reckon they'll go for Gin/Silver. White Goku already exists.

Makes sense to call it Silver. I mean SSJ are known for their 'Golden' hair so it'd be a nice way of indicating a new 'branch'. I just hope this won't be Goku exclusive. Vegeta needs to have a proper win in the series. I know he won't get one here so maybe when the show starts back up again after the break.
And Silver is in line with their age and the older audience still watching after so many decades...
