What makes you say he's not dead? Does he still serve some narrative purpose in One Piece now that his baton has been passed on? Seems like an elegant end for the character.

It's not going to be fully remade, it's mostly a Dragonball Z Kai/One Pace edit of the existing material. Only some shots will be cleaned up. This is effectively a hiatus.

A few answers are appreciated in getting us back up to speed with how things got turned around, and honestly, I'm glad the flashbacks we see weren't 6 or so episodes.
Looks like Boa's poor taste in men is, in fact, genetic.

I'm loving the Kizaru showdown.
One the one hand, sad to see Rob Lucci 'betray' his promise to Luffy to not attack anyone till he beats him, but on the other hand, is a 'deal' with a pirate binding? Scumbag, but task focused straight for Vegapunk. Never thought I'd see him face off with Zoro.
