Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I take back what I said about the president- she's off the table aside from some fanservice. This was a about as perfect an ending as we could have hoped for. Their relationship is clearly different than it was at the beginning- advancing beyond completely childish flirtation (but not much) to something deeper. An appreciation and outright affection that is so exploratory and shy and sweet to see.
