Certainly doesn't sound ideal, but still a lot better than Mihoyo, lol.

I'd rather have the guarantee at 120 and it resets between banner, everyone who plays these games is usually planning pulls anyway.

And you are kinda ignoring the fact that for the weapon banner, you get a guaranteed 6* every 4x10 pulls and the featured one you want after 8x10
In Genshin I have a 75/25 after 8x10 and basically not at all the income of free pulls to even try it.


It does suck for duplicates though! I kinda thought it's always 120, that shucks (big time)

I don't understand how this isn't superior for collectors though. I mean, we are also ignoring the pulls per banner/week ratio here. But to me it sounds like collectors actually have it better than spenders and F2P who want very few very specific characters (and probably maxxed as far as they can go)

It depends on whether you earn enough to make 120 pulls every banner or not. Like Mihoyo with ZZZ, they will tune it so you cannot get guarantee every banner without spending...just barely. And also depends on if the units become meta for endgame activities, and how frequent the reruns are. If not, they are forcing a collector to spend consistently because they risk losing all the resources they've spent. ZZZ is Hoyo's gacha system FOMO perfected, especially with the consistent power creep.

Whales will get murdered and quit Endfield once their luck sours on a banner and go 1000s without getting a dupe.
