"The love between brother and sister. The love between man and woman. That which is most forbidden is most unyielding. The two sons and five daughters of the Shiunji family shine like brilliant gems, each with intelligence and beauty in equal measure. And with the pedigree of their wealthy father behind them, how could they not be the talk of the town? Eldest son Arata has spent his life being tossed around by the whims of his colorful sisters, yet a little teasing won't stop him from valuing his family over anything and anyone else. But when his youngest sister turns fifteen, their father reveals a long-hidden secret of the Shiunji "siblings" and knocks Arata's world off its axis...

...from the author of Rent-a-girlfriend? Well, at least there should be something to talk about each week, even if it is only the stupidest contrivances imaginable. Even though the first episode was well put together, none of the characters have gotten enough development to begin playing ship maker yet, but here's a place to do it...

"How long will the word "incest" will keep Kotono at bay?"
Go ahead and add that one to the pantheon of great anime philosophical quandaries...
About half of this episode was the brother literally listing off the unique charms of his sisters that he is totally not going to change around now that he has the combined backing of both the fandom and the law. Glasses girl's entire scene has reduced her character to 'the one that says lewd things with a straight face'. Author-kun is struggling already to craft a narrative and keep the fanservice up to par without stepping on each other.
That said, Minami has already stolen the best girl title, as I'm sure you all agree.
I feel sorry for Shion, as he gets little screen time as he doesn't have his sister's affection, and is practically absent in the OP, I noticed. I wonder what his character is going to be used for, narratively?
