I really thought this might be a P.A. Works show at first. Instead we get a traditional tear-jerker with a layer of magic contrivance. I enjoyed these first two episodes well enough, but without a sensible path, and the show outright admitting that Meg is a chronic procrastinator, I expect to be thoroughly unsatisfied either way this plays out: She either dies a noble young lady or some deus ex saves her in the end without the growth her character could use. Doubt I'll continue, but it's not a bad show.
