My brother got Growlanser.. it's fairly lackluster actually.
The first game in the bundle, Growlanser II, can be beaten very (and I do mean VERY) quickly.
Growlanser III is longer and the characters are at least a little less effeminate.
Worst main character ever.
There are definitely better TRPGs than Growlanser. If you're bent on getting it then at least wait until the price drops.
I just had the oppurtunity to play half-life 2 on my friends new alienware system and all I have to say is Fucking game of the year!!
Holy shit the graphics are unreal!! The game play is excellent, although I did not get to play it through, but still very fun.
Anyway, as far as outdoor graphics goes, this one pwns! I would say indoor graphics Doom 3 slightly is better. The physics within the game is great too, all objects react very well within the environment.
Oh yeah, counter strike source is very nice, it just makes the CS game alot better with the new source engine!
Another game I had the oppurtunity to play was LOTR:Battle for middle earth, I am a big RTS fan and it lived up to my expectations as an RTS addict. The graphics, music, and game play is great. The only thing I did not like was the AI, I mean the hardest setting is pretty pathetic to play against. Me and my friends tried taking on all hards and it was a walk in the park! They should learn a little from Blizzard on AI, here's a hint give the comp twice the resources and have the bastard attack early and often! But that's the cheap way of doing it!
The next game I'll be waiting for!

Let me know if it good. I'm planning on gotting Suikoden 4 as well. I was a little disappointed that ps2 didn't make a lot of RPG games like the ps1.

^^ can't wait for Resident Evil 4 to come out, really want to play past the short demo I've played, plus seems cool. Besides, Best Buy was stupid and accidently advertised RE4 for $15 as a players choice game (2 for $30)(sure they meant to advertise first gamecube Resident Evil) so I went there and got a raincheck for it for only $15, so they saved me some money ^_^

heh well $38 for a new game isn't bad so still good Souryusen. Just when I saw the add figured it was wrong but went to make sure, I actually asked the game department manager as well as people working there and they all thought nothing was wrong with the add, so took advantage of it.

heh because it was a temporary thing and RE4 isn't even out yet to have bought more then one so all i could do was put a raincheck on 1
damn you all i have to pay full price for re:4 but it will be worth it.
Lol, you guys are getting all your new games, I'm stuck with all my old ones. I even started to play FF7 again, hahaha.
nothing wrong with old games the most recent game i bought was wild arms for playstation
