i think this is what'll happen:

kakashi right now, as all of you can see, is a pretty cocky. but obito's influence will turn him into the bigger badass that he is now. i think kakashi will screw up this situation, his chidori won't even be put to use effectively and he'll just mess everything up having yondaime (maybe even obito) save his ass later. i don't think there is another way to go about what kakashi has said about chidori and sharingan other than kakashi not being able to use chidori effectively, thus proving that without sharingan chidori isn't effective.
